Please click on the link below to enjoy some shots of our successful 28th Scenic Mountain Triathlon on July 14, 2013. About 100 volunteers stepped up to make this event happen. There were 94 entrants this year. This is just one of the events put on by the Chamber each year. This year we used electronic timing for all three events - swimming, biking and running.

Our wonderful sponsors, Alpha Natural Resources and Brooks Run Mining Company made it all possible. We also thank our great photographer, Rob McKenzie.

Welcome to the Richwood Area Chamber of Commerce and Richwood, West Virginia.

Take a stroll down Main Street and enjoy the large photos of historic Richwood in the historic district. You'll get a taste of Richwood's history from the many photos put together by the Main Street Historic Beautification Committee. New photos have been added so there is a fresh selection.

WE WANT YOU! If you are an entrepreneur, artisan, active Senior, outdoors person, a person who likes small towns and friendly people, then come and join us here in Richwood. We have buildings available for your business, inexpensive homes, and a great community atmosphere.

The project of restoring Camp Splinter has been ongoing. If you're from Richwood you probably know about the Camp. If you're not and you'd like to learn more, be involved, or book a stay, please call or E-Mail Pat McKenzie at the Chamber Office 304 - 846 - 6790. This is the third year to "Make Splinter Better." Much has been accomplished, but there is still a long way to go. The cabin will be available for rental in 2014 as well as the lodge. The Boy Scouts have painted most of the cabin and Lodge and cleared brush as part of their community Service Initiative for the 2013 Boy Scout Jamboree.

Our office is open from 10 A.M - 2 P.M, Monday through Friday. Our General Membership Meeting is the third Monday of each month. Anyone is invited to attend.

Should you have questions or comments please don't hesitate to contact us. We'd like to hear from you.

Please check out the CVB web site at www.richwoodcvb.org for additional area information.
